LAKESIDE, CA — Crews quickly contained a small brush fire that sparked alongside state Route 67 in Lakeside Wednesday afternoon.
The quarter-acre blaze broke out on Lakeside Avenue near the highway, according to Cal Fire. There were no reports of structural damage or injuries.
Traffic was slowed in the area while crews mopped up the scene.
