Passing Home Depot on Midway I see scores of Mexicans (yes, they ARE Mexicans, I've hired them) and a FEW Americans, seeking work. A short distance further, I see whites(at least they would be with enough soap and water) waving signs seeking "spare change" I see no Blacks, no Asians, no "Hispanics" begging. One of our "white brothers"(RECENT ENTRY IN A "Charlie Manson lookalike contest) has a sign,"NEED $ FOR WEED"
Several others SIT ! and beg......MY DOG DOES BETTER !
This Goldwater/Reagan conservative is as embarrassed as if I went to a Chargers vs Raiders game and our Chargers sat down on the line of scrimmage and uncapped a few beers.
Embarrassing ...HUH ? at least if you're white and American!
SO !...when Pres Bush commented ,"they're doing work Americans won't".......was he RIGHT ON TARGET.
Not politically correct OF COURSE....BUT 100% RIGHT !
