Boy Injured In Trolley Crash In Santee
BREAKING: The collision occurred around 4 p.m. at Cuyamaca Street and Mission Gorge Road.
SANTEE, CA – A 10-year-old boy was injured Tuesday when the vehicle he was riding in was struck by a trolley in Santee, authorities reported.
The collision occurred around 4 p.m. at Cuyamaca Street and Mission Gorge Road, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Medics took the injured child to Sharp Grossmont Hospital for an evaluation, Lt. Matthew Glisson said.

The accident left lanes blocked, resulting in traffic delays in the area.
Trolley service to the Santee Station was temporarily suspended due to the accident, according to the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System. A bus bridge was implemented between Santee and Gillespie stations for Green Line passengers.
