Victim Of Fatal East County Shooting ID'd
Arnolfo Quintero, 26, was mortally wounded by gunfire in the 8700 block of Troy Street in Spring Valley, authorities said.
SPRING VALLEY, CA — Authorities Thursday released the name of a man who was shot to death this week in a neighborhood near the junction of state Route 94 and SR-125.
Arnolfo Quintero, 26, was mortally wounded by gunfire in the 8700 block of Troy Street in Spring Valley shortly before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Lt. Joel Stranger of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Prior to the arrival of deputies and paramedics, residents of the area took Quintero to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
