Wally is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

He wants more pets.

Wally is a 7-year-old, 50-pound, male, Labrador Retriever mix.

He was lost when someone took him to a shelter, where nobody claimed him. Wally was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).

Wally won’t ask you to pet him. But, if you do, he will move closer for more. Wally likes older kids and other dogs. He could live in an apartment.

His $75 adoption fee includes medical exam, neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.

If his adopter is 60 or older, the fee will be paid by a Rancho Coastal Humane Society benefactor through the Seniors for Seniors program.

Special note.

On Saturday, June 6, Rancho Coastal Humane Society will join animal shelters throughout California in offering fee-waived adoptions for adult dogs, cats, and rabbits as part of the third annual California Adopt-a-Pet Day.

Animals of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels are available at participating shelters. At RCHS animals are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Shelter staff will help match adopters with an animal who is the right fit for their lifestyle.
