Wolf Pack Girls Basketball Beats Mt. Carmel, Gains Spot in CIF Final
After dominating Mt. Carmel, the West Hills girls basketball team takes it to USD for the championship game.
The West Hills girls varsity basketball team beat Mt. Carmel at Wednesday night's , 54-38, and will be playing against Serra High in the CIF championship at USD's Jenny Craig Pavilion at 6:05 p.m. on Friday.
dominated Wednesday's game, practically a rematch of last year's semifinal game against Mt. Carmel which the Pack lost, but this time they led Mt. Carmel in every quarter but the third. Emily Cole led the Pack with 19 points in the game, followed by Jillian Brown with 10 points.
The team now stands with a record of 24-6, and is ranked 108 in California, according to MaxPreps.com.
