SANTEE, CA – A fire at a mobile home park in Santee destroyed a trailer and killed a woman and a dog, authorities said Monday.

A paramedic returning from a call spotted smoke coming from the 10800 block of Woodside Avenue around 10:50 p.m. Sunday and notified dispatchers, Santee Fire Deputy Chief Tim Stuber.

Firefighters arrived at the Mission Del Magnolia mobile home park and found heavy flames and smoke coming from the back of a trailer, Stuber said.
