Woman Suspected Of Assaulting Vice Principal Arrested In Santee
A woman who allegedly attacked a vice principal was arrested after struggling with deputies during a traffic stop, authorities said.

LAKESIDE, CA — A woman who allegedly attacked the vice principal of Lakeside Middle School where she had gone to pick up her son was arrested Tuesday after struggling with deputies during a traffic stop, authorities said.
Monique Martin allegedly became combative when administrators at the school at 11833 Woodside Ave. asked her for identification, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
"She then returned home and left her 3-year-old daughter at home after telling the neighbor to care for the child," according to a sheriff's department statement.

Martin then drove to Santee, where sped past deputies along Town Center Parkway, the sheriff's department reported.
The deputies pulled Martin over and she allegedly became combative, requiring two deputies to use force to get her into custody, according to the sheriff's department.

"Martin was arrested and transported to Sharp Grossmont Hospital for evaluation prior to being booked," according to the sheriff's department.
The two deputies who took her into custody sustained minor injuries and complaints of pain and were treated at a hospital and released.
Martin was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, battery and resisting an officer, the sheriff's department reported.
