Join the Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga and Scotts Valley Chamber of Commerce organizations for a fun evening of social business networking at 5:30 p.m., tonight, Thursday Oct. 4 at West Valley College's new event center, 14000 Fruitvale Ave. Local restaurants, caterers, wineries and vineyards will generously provide food and drink for the event. Those attending are encouraged to bring their business cards, marketing and promotional materials to share and network with business owners and community leaders. Entry fee for all is $5. Joe Jackson plus the Bigger Band, featuring Regina Carter, will perform his classic hits from his new album, The Duke at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Montalvo Arts Center's Lilian Fontaine Garden Theatre, 15400 Montalvo Rd., Saratoga. Pre-concert dining will be catered by Café Primavera. Tickets are $44 (tax and gratuity included; beverages not included). Come join Saratoga's Got Talent, now called Silicon Valley's Got Talent, for its once-a-month event typically held on the first Saturday 7-10 p.m., Oct. 6, at Blue Rock Shoot, 14523 Big Basin Way, in Saratoga. Attendees are invited to share their talents and have a good time. In the past, the event has featured live musical performances, stand-up comedy, karaoke, poetry and blog readings.
