Author Kim Stanley Robinson

Acclaimed science fiction writer Kim Stanley Robinson will talk about “The Power of Imagining,” how fiction can help readers envision the future and explore new ideas.

Robinson is the author of 19 novels and numerous short stories, including the eco-novel Green Earth, a new version of the Science in the Capital series, The Years of Rice and Salt and the Mars Trilogy. His work has been honored with more than 20 awards including the 2016 Robert A. Heinlein Award.

Audience Q&A will follow Mr. Robinson’s talk and he will be available for book signing after the event.
