Beer, Wine Sales on Saratoga Planners' Agenda Tonight

The Saratoga Planning Commission meets tonight at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Civic Theatre/Council Chambers, 13777 Fruitvale Ave., to discuss the following:

• General Plan conformance determination for the potential sale of a city-owned parcel located near Gardiner Park between 18929 and 18947 Harleigh Drive.
• The city is proposing a zoning amendment that would allow businesses to sell beer and/or wine for consumption off-site as a permitted use within any commercial zoning district under certain conditions.
