Bimmer Beamed, Driver Escapes with Scratches

A driver was lucky to be alive Friday evening after a metal tray loader slid off a truck and crashed through his BMW’s windshield, and miraculously he only escaped with a scratch on his arms, firefighters said.

The man was driving southbound on Highway 280 just north of Saratoga when the accident happened.

He was the only person in the car. No other information was available at this time.
