Blessing of the Animals on Oct 5

All God's creatures will be celebrated at the Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, October 5th, 10 a.m., at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Dogs, cats, fish birds, horses, donkeys, turtles, hamsters, and their human companions are all welcome to our 10 a.m. worship service, as we observe the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, who was famous for seeing the glory of God in creation.  As we gather together, we don’t expect perfect behavior from the animals or their humans!  But nonetheless we enjoy this annual event as a wonderful experience for all ages and species.  Please bring dogs on leashes, fish in water, cats and other small animals in carriers.  In addition, no matter what your age, you can bring toy stuffed animals and photos of your animals for a blessing.  Kibble and cake will be served after the service during coffee hour.  For further information, call
