Body Found In Saratoga Storage Shed Is Identified

SARATOGA - A man whose body was discovered on Saturday in a storage area in Saratoga was identified today by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as 53-year-old Benigno Garcia.

Garcia's body was found in the 14000 block of Big Basin Way, according to the county sheriff's office.

A person reported the discovery around 11 a.m. Saturday.

The person told deputies he smelled a strange odor before opening the storage area where Garcia was found, according to the county sheriff's office.

Sheriff's officials are considering the case an unattended death under suspicious circumstances.
