Three Easy Ways to Boost Your Immune System
Take a walk during lunch time and cut your sick days at work in half.
I recently tripled my exercise and I feel great. I sleep better and have a more positive outlook on life, although it wasn't that negative to begin with. I guess you could say I have an ultra positive attitude now.
I either read, do business teleconferences or watch a Netflix movie while on my exercise bike. Watching a movie is great because I can go a long time easily without noticing.
On top of this, I hike, walk the dog and in the summer swim a lot of laps in my pool.

Having a dog helps because walking him every day is part of the exercise routine. He's a very smart dog and his trainer recommended we walk him two hours a day to keep him happy.
Although he only gets an hour a day during work days, it still does both of us a world of good.

My attitude is do what you can. You don't have to achieve perfection. Do you have to hire a personal trainer and work out hard two hours a day? No, but once in a while that could be fun as a change to the regular routine.
In any case, I was just listening to one of my favorite advice givers, John Tesh. He is a 60-year-old pianist and composer, as well as host of the "John Tesh Radio Show." He just gave three great tips on mega boosting your immune system.
1. Walk regularly. Tesh says studies show that people who do this take half the sick days at work than people who don't.
I don't think he means walk as in walk to your car and drive to work. He means take an extra walk on top of your ordinary walking needed to live your life. If you don't have a lot of time, chunk it. This means do 10 minutes before work, 10 minutes at lunch time and 10 in the evening. That's 30 minutes.
2. Stay in touch with friends. Apparently talking with your friends boosts your immune system. I think this is why I like my book club so much. It forces me to take a break from being a mom and running my company to just visit with people.
3. Show your feelings and engage in an argument once in a while. I personally don't have a problem with this one. However, I suppose some people do. I do worry about people who are always cheery and nice and when something bad or unfair happens, they don't say a word. Bottling up emotions is apparently not good says Mr. Tesh.
I like these tips because they are simple things easily incorporated into your life.
