Debate Classes for 6-8 Grade Students to Prepare for Stanford tournament

Young Genius, Bay Area Debate Academy, the #1 ranked speech and debate program in the country, is opening enrollment for Congressional debate classes in Saratoga and Palo Alto, CA. that will run from January 2nd to May, 31st, 2017
Classes in Palo Alto are on Mondays from 6:00 to 8:00pm and in Saratoga classes are on Wednesday 6:00-8:00pm.
These courses will focus on preparing students to compete in Congressional debate at their first Stanford National Speech and Debate tournament on February 11-12 and then in other local tournaments.
In Congressional Debate students simulate the U.S. Congress and debate issues of current interest. We teach students from 2nd grade, all the way to High School. Congressional Debate classes focus on the skills which are valuable resources for students in high school, college, and down the road in their careers like research, persuasive speaking, active listening, critical thinking, accurate and extensive note taking and cross examination.
