Storyline: A surreal, musical journey about a mother and daughter who end up in two different dimensions as the result of an ice skating accident. Strings deals with concepts of gravity and super-string theory, as well as the strings of the heart, while exploring the connectedness that exists between all humans and the universe in which we live.

Strings has screened in over 40 festivals worldwide. It has received numerous awards including Best Drama, Best in Show, and a Gold Award for Best Female Performance at the Eureka Springs Independent Film Festival; Best Original Score at The San Diego International Kids Film Festival; Silver Award for Best Original Music at The Eureka Springs Independent Film Festival; and 2nd Place for Best Student Film, at The Landlocked International Film Festival. Strings has also received Awards of Merit from both the Rochester International Film Festival and the Women’s International Film Festival. Strings has also been nominated for awards several times for its striking cinematography. Both Robert J. Cornejo and Jennifer Nash have received numerous awards and nominations for their original score and song. Strings has also been the recipient of the prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Production Award, as well as the Technicolor Digital Intermediate Award. Director, Crystal Us, also received The Loretta Young Award for Innovative Woman In Film for her work on Strings.
