Man Found Dead In Saratoga Home Identified
Breaking: Authorities have publicly released the identity of one of two people found shot to death this week in a Saratoga home.

SARATOGA, CA -- One of two people found dead Monday of gunshot wounds at a home in Saratoga was identified by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office Friday as 81-year-old Robert Sandie.
The deaths remained under investigation Friday and authorities are withholding information about the identity of the second deceased person, according to Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. Rich Glennon.
Authorities have released limited information since the bodies were discovered Monday morning inside a home in the 19000 block of Saratoga Los Gatos Road -- or Highway 9 -- near Glen Una Drive.

Sheriff's personnel were dispatched to the scene at about 9:30 a.m. when someone called to report the deaths, according to Glennon.
"Deputies arrived at the residence and observed two adults, both who were residents, with fatal gunshot wounds," Glennon said in an email Friday to Patch. "The incident is still under investigation with our homicide detectives. Based on the preliminary information from this investigation, we maintain there is no risk to public safety."
