On a recent Friday afternoon, the local book house was jammed packed with readers of all ages.
On a recent Friday afternoon, the Saratoga Library, 13650 Saratoga Ave., was jammed packed with children, parents and seniors hoping to check out their favorite books for the weekend before closing time at 6 p.m.
The library is a member of the Santa Clara County Library District, which includes Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Milpitas, Monte Sereno, Morgan Hill and all unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County.
The facility has full service computers with Office 2010, wonderful events for residents of all ages, 24/7 access to a virtual library's eBooks and eResources, storytimes and a dedicated teen space.

Serving as supervising librarian for adult and teen services is Roslyn Donald. The book house is also supported by the nonprofit Friends of the Saratoga Libraries run by volunteers.
The organization was founded in 1972 by Saratoga community members who focus on maintaining a high quality of library services and assist in providing adequate physical facilities for the building.
