Aluminary Arts Studio

Aluminary Arts is a boutique art studio in downtown Los Gatos offering thoughtfully curated, small-group workshops for adults and teens. Founded by artist and longtime graphic designer Lisa Tollner, the studio was created to provide a welcoming, inspiring space where creativity feels approachable, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable—regardless of experience level. Blending fine art practice with a background in design and creative direction, Aluminary Arts offers a fresh take on traditional art classes. Each session is intentionally designed to be both elevated and accessible, combining professional-quality materials, guided instruction, and the freedom to explore personal expression. From acrylic painting and mixed media to watercolor and seasonal themed workshops, participants are encouraged to experiment, build confidence, and create original work they feel proud of. Classes are kept intentionally small to allow for individualized guidance and a relaxed, social atmosphere. Whether attending a wine-inspired evening workshop, a weekend immersive session, or a teen-focused class designed to foster creativity and confidence, guests experience a balance of structure and creative freedom. More than just a studio, Aluminary Arts is rooted in community. The space brings people together to slow down, connect, and rediscover the value of working with their hands in an increasingly digital world. A portion of workshop proceeds is also donated to local charities, reinforcing a commitment to giving back and supporting the surrounding community.

My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere.
