Police Seek Man Who Stole Self-Washing Toilet Seat From Home

The toilet seat, worth $730, was ordered through Amazon and stolen from the victim's front porch.

Police released a photo Monday of a man who stole a self-washing toilet seat in Campbell earlier this month.

The packaged toilet valued at $730 was taken from a Penny Lane townhouse complex off of West Hamilton Avenue just before 11 p.m. on Nov. 10, police said.

The package ordered through Amazon had been left behind on the victim’s front porch, according to police.

The suspect is described as a black man who is about 35 years old with long black curly hair, a beard and mustache, police said.

He wore a gray and blue sweatshirt with the California state bear pictured on the front, according to police.
