Retro Dome Still Homeless

After closing in January at the former Century 25 Cinema on Saratoga Avenue, entertainment producers are still looking for permanent location.

After moving Jan. 20 from its old location on the Saratoga-San Jose border, 1694 Saratoga Ave., the Retro Dome has still not found a permanent venue to put down its roots.

"We've seen every available space (theatre or otherwise) in the South Bay and although many are feasible, they each have one seemingly insurmountable obstacle (e.g. no parking, iffy neighborhood, needs more than an “extreme home makeover”) so we're just trying to see which one has the path of least resistance before we invest our hope in a new prospect," owner Shannon Guggenheim wrote on the business' website.
