Saratoga Condo Fire Caused $2.1 Million of Damage
One person was injured, and eight residents were displaced after the Sunday blaze.

A three-alarm fire that injured one person and displaced eight at a condominium building in Saratoga on Sunday caused more than $2.1 million in damage, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
The fire, which has been ruled accidental, was reported at 9:49 a.m. Sunday at the four-unit building at 20810 Fourth St., according to fire officials. Fire crews had the blaze under control at about 11 a.m. One resident who suffered minor injuries was treated at the scene and released, fire officials said.
The American Red Cross responded and assisted the eight residents who were displaced, fire officials said. The fire apparently started in a storage closet on the second floor of the building, but its exact cause will be undetermined, fire spokeswoman Stephanie Stuehler said.

The fire caused an estimated $1.5 million to the structure of the building and $650,000 to its contents, according to the fire department.
