Saratoga City Hall Closed For MLK Jr. Holiday

Government offices will reopen for business Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Saratoga City Hall will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office in downtown San Jose, 55 W. Younger Ave., is open 24 hours a day. However, the office headed by Santa Clara County sheriff's captain Kenneth Binder, at 1601 So. De Anza Blvd. #148, in Cupertino, will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of the holiday.

The Cupertino office's hours of operation are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office provides law enforcement services for Saratoga, Cupertino and Los Altos Hills.

The Saratoga Library will also be closed, but will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Saratoga Union School District schools will also be closed on Monday as well as U.S. Postal Service offices.

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority will operate buses and light rail on a regular schedule Monday, Jan. 21.

Garbage and recycling pickup provided by West Valley Collection will occur as normal on Friday, Jan. 25.
