Saratoga High School Observes 'Speak Up For Change Week'
Student Ehrland Hollingsworth is promoting a positive attitude on campus Jan. 22-25.
Saratoga High School student Ehrland Hollingsworth, 17, was busy Wednesday putting to practice what he's been hearing on campus this week: "Speak Up for Change."
His friends, teachers and administrators are trying to empower one another to "not just talk about change, but to do something to affect positive change on our school campus and maybe in the wider world," said SHS assistant principals Kerry Mohnike and Kevin Mount.
Hollingsworth, a junior, said the school has been holding several activities and assemblies to discuss how to avoid destructive behaviors such as cliques, cheating and unkind words.

The students are working hard to identify behaviors that don't help them improve as human beings, Hollingsworth said. "We're learning to treat each other better, with more respect, to prevent bullying and make everyone ... happier."
