Following graduation this year he plans to attend college either at Cal Poly or UC San Diego focusing on business and either administration or engineering.
St. John’s graduates are an accomplished group, according to school spokesman Jim Gregory. Recent graduates are attending military colleges, including West Point, deployed with the U.S. Armed Services in Afghanistan, and fulfilling the dream of playing college football through a scholarship.
The caring people of St. John’s Military School inspire young men to prepare themselves for a better future by accomplishing more than they might think possible, Gregory said.
Faculty and boarding school staff provide a safe, structured environment that encourages self-confidence and personal achievement. For the cadets, learning to overcome obstacles becomes second nature while individual intellectual and physical successes give them higher expectations that come from a greater belief in their own abilities, he added.
"The result is that St. John’s cadets perform at the highest level academically, physically, morally and spiritually," he wrote in an email interview.
