Saratoga Rotary Club Gives $5K in Scholarships

Graduating seniors from Saratoga and Prospect high schools recognized for leadership skills, service and being well-rounded.

The Saratoga Rotary Club has given $5,000 in scholarships to students who graduated from Prospect and Saratoga high schools this month and have shown leadership ability, service to school and community and well-roundedness. 

This year's winners are:

  • Krishnan Srinivasan, Prospect High
  • Yifat Amir, Saratoga High
  • Feargus Mac Fhionnlaoich, Saratoga High
  • Michelle Won, Saratoga High
  • Tiffany Yung, Saratoga High

The service club also awarded a scholarship in memory of former Saratoga Rotarian Dr. Gordon Iwanaga to Michelle Won.

The scholarships are made possible through the club's annual West Valley art show fundraiser held each year on the first Sunday in May, said Rotarian Teri Saldivar Kasik, with the scholarship committee.
