Saratoga's Fall Activity Guide Now Available
City offers residents 36 pages of information about hot to stay busy this season.

The City of Saratoga's 36-page fall activity guide has been mailed to residents with a copy of The Saratogan newsletter inside.
If you didn't get one in the mail, no worries ... you can also pick up copies at the Saratoga Recreation Department, 19655 Allendale Ave.

The guide is one of three that are mailed to Saratoga's estimated 30,000 residents.

The 2013 winter activity guide will be mailed to residents in late November, according to city staff.
The guide contains descriptions of classes and programs being offered for youth, teens, adults and seniors in areas of art and enrichment and health and fitness.
For example, for preschool and children, the guide contains courses such as oil painting, public speaking, music, vocal performance, magic, clay, piano games and beginning guitar.
For youth and teens, the options are archery, Jr. rock climbing, fencing, squash, karate, gymnastics, soccer, golf, hockey, dance and more.
For adolescents, there's driver's education, CPR, oil painting, and guitar and for adults, the choices include aerobics, hula hoop, golf, Jazzercise, cooking, nutrition, zumba, dance, yoga, beading, oil painting, landscaping design and even Chinese painting.
The classes and programs are offered throughout the city and nearby communities such as Los Gatos and Campbell such as the Campbell Community Center and Los Gatos High School ad the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center.
