Saratoga Sheriff's Blotter, May 23-31: DUI Causing Injury at Village

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests for Saratoga for the period of May 23-31, 2013. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Eduardo De La Cruz, 21, of San Jose, 7:30 a.m. May 18, at Cox and Saratoga avenues in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and two infractions for failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and having an expired registration.
  • Raymundo Salinas, 60, of Redwood City, 2:25 a.m. May 23, at Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, for misdemeanor unlawful registration, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and a suspended license.

DUI

  • Ryan Wehner, 22, of San Jose, 12:01 a.m. May 25 at Johnson Avenue and Prospect Road in Saratoga, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Rama Attaluri, 36, of Sunnyvale, 3:35 a.m. May 26, at Quito Road and Northlawn Drive in Saratoga, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Erik Wilhelmsen, 42, of Los Gatos, 9 p.m. May 26, at Marshall Lane and Quito Road in Saratoga, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Malini Madanahalli, 43, of Saratoga, 4:15 p.m. May 28, at 20640 Ritanna Court in Saratoga, for misdemeanor DUI and felony willfully causing/permitting child to suffer. 
Possession

  • William Doyle, 40, of Los Gatos, 11:15 a.m. May 25, at Myren Court and Portos Drive in Saratoga for an infraction related to possession of marijuana.

Assault/Battery

  • Michael Wong, 43, of San Jose, 8:11 p.m. April 21, at 18644 Martha Ave. in Saratoga, for misdemeanor assault and battery.
DUI Causing Injury

  • David Forcier, 54, of Saratoga, 7:40 p.m. May 31, at 4th and Big Basin Way in Saratoga, for felony DUI and felony DUI causing bodily injury to any person other than the driver. Bail set at $25,000.
