Saratoga Sponsors Arbor Day Poster Contest
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate; deadline is 5 p.m. April 15.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to enter into a poster contest sponsored by the City of Saratoga in honor of Arbor Day 2013.
Posters must be 14-inches by 24-inches and must convey the importance of trees, the city said on its website.

Posters are due to Saratoga City Manager Dave Anderson's office at City Hall by 5 p.m. Monday, April 15.
Winners in three different grade categories will receive a $50 gift certificate and will be announced at the April 24 Arbor Day event, scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Saratoga Library.

All posters will be on display at the library community room during the event.
The categories will be kindergarten through third grade, fourth through eighth grade and ninth grade through 12th grade, the flier said.
