Go Giants, go Giants, go Giants ... that chant could be heard loud and clear at The Bank bar in Saratoga and Jake's Pizza as fans congregated there and in their homes to support their team in the 2012 World Series.

On Facebook, many nearby business owners such as Los Gatos' Enoteca La Storia co-owner Mike Guerra posted photos of themselves attending Game 1 at AT&T Park in San Francisco Wednesday evening. The Giants beat the Detroit Tigers' by a 8-3 score.
