Six new physicians join staff at Kaiser Permanente San Jose
New MD's at Kaiser Permanente San Jose specialists in Surgery, Family Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Cardiology.
Six new physicians have joined the medical staff of Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center. With these hires, a total of twelve new doctors have been added to the San Jose Hospital and Medical Office Campus, and a full-service medical office in Gilroy near State Highway 152.
The surgeons are Dr. Supriya Patel and Dr. Danielle Pickham. Dr. Patel graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles and University of Southern California for her medical training. Dr. Pickham graduated from The State University of New York Buffalo Medical School. Both doctors completed fellowships in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery.
Dr. Eric Fuh has joined the Department of Cardiology at Kaiser Permanente San Jose. He is a graduate of Duke University’s Medical School and completed a cardiology fellowship in Texas. His specialty is cardiac interventions, including angioplasty and stenting, procedures that open blocked arteries in the heart.
Two new physicians joined the Department of Family Medicine on the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Campus. They are Dr. Navin Luthra and Lena Patel, D.O. Dr. Luthra graduated from the St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and did a Family Medicine Fellowship in Merced, California. Lena Patel graduated from the Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and then completed her residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
Dr. Kathryn Gunnison has joined the Department of Ob/Gyn at Kaiser Permanente San Jose. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and the Rosalind Franklin University/Chicago Medical School. After graduation, she won a Kaiser Permanente Global Health Scholarship, which sent her on an Ob/Gyn mission to Cameroon. Dr. Gunnison completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara.
