South Bay Burglary Suspect Arrested

A man suspected in connection with multiple home burglaries in Morgan Hill and San Jose was arrested in Walnut Creek on Tuesday night.

Santa Clara County sheriff’s personnel arrested David Pietrzak, 50, of San Jose at the Stadium Pub at 1420 Lincoln Avenue, according to Walnut Creek police Lt. Steve Gorski.

Authorities had been on the lookout for Pietrzak after he allegedly burglarized a home in Morgan Hill on July 29, and was suspected of involvement in several other burglaries throughout Santa Clara County, according to Morgan Hill police.

Walnut Creek police were notified on Tuesday that Santa Clara County law enforcement officers had traced Pietrzak to Walnut Creek and planned to arrest him there, Gorski said. He was taken to Santa Clara County Jail.
