Unique speaking course offered by WVC Community Ed

Electro-optical engineer and instructor Barbara Grant will teach, “Finding Your Presentation Personality” on Wednesday evening, May 6, 2015 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at West Valley College. Link to the course description is here:

Using a combination of speaking techniques and character speeches from history and literature, we will get out of our speaking comfort zones in preparation for our presentations in a variety of venues. This course will be followed by another on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9 AM - 1 PM, “Making your Case with Power Point.”

Barbara holds an M. S. in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona. She trained as an actor with the Northridge Theater Guild, San Fernando Valley, during the 1970s.
