Video: Are You Ready For Saratoga's Got Talent Annual Competition?

It's two months away, but now is your chance to start practicing your act and sign up to perform! Ticket sales benefit the Saratoga Cares Foundation.

It's two months away, but already anticipation for the Saratoga Cares Foundation's annual fundraiser Saratoga's Got Talent Competition is gaining momentum.

A video has been produced to get Saratoga residents excited about participating in the event scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, June 14 at the McAfee Center, 20300 Herriman Ave.

About 600 people are expected to attend, according to organizers, and the winner takes home $2,500.

The evening will be divided into two segments and will feature food trucks from 6-10 p.m.

Younger competitors ages 5 to 12 will perform 5:15-7:15 p.m. with the winners announced at 7:30 p.m. After an intermission, older competitors ages 13 and older will perform 8-10 p.m. with the winners announced at 10:30 p.m.

"Showcase your talents. Be featured on our TV Show Silicon Valley's Got Talent," the pitch to sign up states on the event's Facebook page.

The event is a fundraiser for the Saratoga Education Foundation benefiting the Saratoga Union School District and the Saratoga Cares Foundation dedicated toward local cause.

Last year's performers included about 50 artists including Seema Kumar, Cortnee Langlie, Raffy Espiritu, among others. The winner was The Crew band, who turned over its $1,000 prize to the Saratoga Senior Center.
