Video: Handheld Catering Offers Fancy Street Food to Saratoga Village

Ryan McTighe, owner and chef of Handheld Catering, is serving his delicious cuisine to patrons on Big Basin Way and Cinnabar Winery.

Ryan McTighe, owner and chef of Handheld Catering, has been busy for the past four weeks serving his delicious beef, salmon and lobster sliders to Saratoga Village patrons.

He opened his curbside mobile kitchen March 1 outside 14612 Big Basin Way, which he runs 5-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

He also sells delicious desserts such as banana and walnut bread pudding with mascarpone gelato and he offers a vegan choice that includes butternut squash, celery root puree on iceberg lettuce and mesquite grilled salsa roja.

There's also a vegetarian dish on the menu that features potatoes tossed with Parmesan cheese, parsley and other vegetables roasted in garlic aioli.
