Video: Uncorked! Saratoga Wine Pick of the Week

Patrick Rupert of Uncorked! Saratoga, 14500 Big Basin Way, suite A, shares information in this one-minute video about the Marilyn Remark Winery's 2010 Viognier-Marsanne-Rousanne, or VMR, which he describes as a delicious Rhone-style wine, with hints of peach and apricots with an apple finish.

A classic wine originating from Monterey grapes that's good with shell fish and spicy Asian food with a clean finish that sells for $25.95, according to Rupert.

Rupert's wine shop offers a selection of hard to find wines from small production vintners and from around the world.

The business' hours of operation are 1-9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 12 noon-6 p.m. Sunday. It's closed on Monday.

Uncorked! Saratoga offers daily tastings that feature between three and five hand-chosen wines from all price points. During weekends, Uncorked! adds premium and international flights.

The shop also has two wine clubs that give its members advance access to two new wines every other month, in addition to other benefits.
