Join us for a docent-led, two-mile walk at the 137-acre, grand estate of Senator James Phelan, which is part of Villa Montalvo County Park. We take a two-hour, leisurely pace and travel the Lookout and Redwood trails through the shady Redwoods up to the Lookout Point for a panoramic view of the Villa and the gardens. Most of the walk will be in the shade. Our
hike leader will teach us about the Redwoods and flora along the way as well as the history of the Montalvo Art Center. Upon return, enjoy a social brown bag lunch in the garden. After lunch, join other BAO members on an optional self-led tour of the gardens and arboretum.
