West Valley College In Saratoga Evacuated Due To 'Credible' Security Threat
If you are not on campus yet, stay home, officials said on Wednesday afternoon.

The campus of West Valley College in Saratoga has been evacuated after the community college received “a credible threat” to its security, college officials announced this morning.
“The campus has received a credible threat” as of 11:40 a.m., administration officials reported on the college’s website without describing the nature of the threat.
“All students and faculty are being evacuated off campus,” officials stated. “If you are not on campus yet, do not come to campus.”

The college is located at 14000 Fruitvale Ave. in Saratoga. Scott Ludwig, a spokesman for the college, could not be reached for comment, as his phone’s mailbox was full.
A spokesman for the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, which polices Saratoga, could not be reached.
