What to Expect from Tonight's School Board Meetings

The Saratoga Union and the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High school districts have their board of education meetings today, Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, at the district office conference room, 20460 Forrest Hills Drive and at 17421 Farley Road West in Los Gatos.

Los Saratoga Union School District trustees will consider the following:

• Annual financial audit report
• Report on curriculum, instruction and assessment  
• Student enrollment and staffing update
• Fiscal planning and reporting sub-committee
• Budget update  
• Discussion of status in reduction of custodial staff 
• Report from the strategic planning sub-committee 
• Approval of School Accountability Report Cards

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District trustees will consider the following:

• The LGSUHSD Board of Education president will report on action taken in
  closed session regarding negotiations with the District Teachers' Association and the California State Employees Association.
