SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The Cabrillo Fire burning just north of Santa Cruz County off Highway 1 and Gazos Creek Road has burned 95 acres and is 55 percent contained, Cal Fire reported Friday. The fire broke out Thursday around dusk in San Mateo County. There are no immediate reports of injuries. <a href="https://www.kron4.com/news/officials-highway-1-closed-due-to-fire-burning-in-pescadero/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">KRON4 reported</a> that at least one structure was damaged in the fire and that officials had temporarily closed Highway 1.
