Ben Lomond County Park

The Ben Lomond Village Alliance invites you to celebrate Scottish culture and community at Ben Lomond Scottish Day on Saturday, September 19, from 1–5 p.m. at Ben Lomond County Park on Mill Street. Enjoy an afternoon of live music, Scottish dancing, falconry, sword fighting, food, family activities and Highland-inspired fun. Visitors can also purchase a tasting passport to sample entries in the community shortbread contest and vote for their favorites. Don’t forget to explore the silent auction, featuring items and experiences donated by local businesses and community supporters. Bring the whole family and join the celebration!

Join us for the 5th Annual Scotts Valley Multicultural Fair — a completely free, family-friendly celebration of culture, community, and connection! This beloved nonprofit event is held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12–4pm at Skypark in Scotts Valley, and is made possible entirely by volunteers and donations.
Whether you're a longtime local or new to the area, there's something for everyone:
🌍 Interactive culture booths showcasing traditions from around the world
🎭 Vibrant live performances curated by renowned choreographer Tandy Beal
👗 An international fashion show celebrating global style and heritage
🎨 Hands-on activities and crafts free for all ages
🍜 Delicious international food from a variety of vendors
🤝 A welcoming space for all families, youth, and community members
Now in its 5th year, the Multicultural Fair was founded to broaden understanding and appreciation of different cultures, and to build positive connections — especially for our youth. Through fun and festivity, this event celebrates community joy, unity, and belonging in Scotts Valley and beyond.

The Friends of the Scotts Valley Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, October 10th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Scotts Valley Library located at 251 Kings Village Road. Gently used books, dvds, cds, audiobooks, puzzles and games will be sold. Find books on gardening, crafts, cooking, travel, history, nature, humor, and poetry. Fiction and nonfiction in all genres! Loads of children's books. Teachers! Come see our huge selection of children’s books including those for middle schoolers and young adults. Cash, checks, cards, and ApplePay accepted. All proceeds benefit the activities and programs at the Scotts Valley Library.
