Calling All Artists

Are you an artist looking for the perfect place to showcase your talent? The thirteenth-annual Scotts Valley Art & Wine Festival wants you.

The festival, hosted by the and the Scotts Valley Arts Commission, is putting out a “Call for Artists” to participate in the event that will be held Aug. 11 and 12 in Skypark. Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply.

drew approximately 7,000 people to Scotts Valley to peruse art and sip local wines. The event also includes great food and lively entertainment.

“It’s a must for any artist’s calendar this summer. The festival showcases fine arts which are original works of the individual artists. There is everything from paintings to photography, ceramics to sculpture, textiles to wooden creations, glass art and fantastic jewelry represented.  It is a great festival for everyone who enjoys fine art,” the Chamber said in a press release.
