Crash Downs Power Pole In Scotts Valley

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — Whispering Pines Drive in Scotts Valley closed Friday, from Estrella to Baja Sol, after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on the street and downed it, according to Scotts Valley police. Approximately 25 customers are without power in the area, according to PG&E.

Police estimate the road will be closed until around midnight as PG&E crews work to replace the pole.

Residents will be allowed to enter the street if they live on the block, however there will be no through traffic allowed, police said.
