Deputies Search for Man Who Attacked Teenage Girl

Police are looking for a man who attacked a 16-year-old girl after she got off of a bus near Boulder Creek on Sunday night

At approximately 11 p.m., the man attempted to grab the girl from behind while also pulling on her hair. The girl screamed and the man fled in a white Toyota truck.

The girl told her father about the attack and he went to the area looking for the man. The father was unable to find the attacker but saw a truck similar to what the girl described. The father described the truck as a 1993 or 1994 Toyota pickup single cab 4x4, slightly lifted with newer tires and missing the tailgate.

The man is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 6-feet tall with light brown or blond hair, scruff along his jaw line and a goatee, and with a thin build and a bump on his nose. He was wearing blue jeans and a white tank top.

The girl said she had never seen the man before and is working with detectives on a sketch. Check Patch on Wednesday to see the sketch of the suspect.
