District 5 Supervisorial Candidates to Speak at Community Forums

The candidates will answer questions from the public tonight in Scotts Valley and Thursday in Felton.

Do you want to know more about the District 5 supervisorial candidates before you make your decision on who to vote for when the June election comes around?

District 5 candidates, Eric Hammer, Bruce McPherson and Bill Smallman, are seeking to replace current Supervisor Mark Stone in representing Scotts Valley and the San Lorenzo Valley on the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors. The candidates will be speaking at two forums this week, answering questions from the community.

The candidate forums are being hosted by the Scotts Valley/San Lorenzo Valley Press-Banner and the Scotts Valley and San Lorenzo Valley Chambers of Commerce. The public is invited to attend these free events.

The first is on April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Scotts Valley Community Center, 360 Kings Village Rd. The second is May 3 at the new San Lorenzo Valley High School Multi-purpose room, 7105 Highway 9, Felton.
