Scotts Valley Fire Extinguished, Crews Work To Repair Power Lines
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — A fire that started in Scotts Valley this morning has been extinguished, police officials said. PG&E crews are working to repair the downed power lines that sparked the blaze in the 600-700 block of Bean Creek Road on Friday morning. Both lanes remain closed while crews make repairs and police ask drivers to avoid the area.
Most of the power has been restore to several thousand customers who were without power due to three large outages reported in the area. No other information is available.
