Driver Arrested For Suspected DUI After Hitting Stop Sign In Scotts Valley
BREAKING: Witness reported the motorist kept driving after the collision, police said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A Scotts Valley driver who reportedly struck a street sign Thursday night was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police.
Officers responded to the vicinity of Bean Creek Road and Christel Oaks Drive in Scotts Valley around 9 p.m. on report of a collision.
At the scene, a witness told them a vehicle drove over a curb and struck a street sign before continuing on Beak Creek Road and pulling into a dirt lot at the corner of Scotts Valley Drive.

The driver, later identified as 52-year-old Dene Bustichi, allegedly showed signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests. Police said his blood-alcohol content was 0.14 percent.
Bustichi was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a crash and DUI.
