Duo Caught With $3K In Medications, Makeup: Scotts Valley PD

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA — Two people suspected of possessing stolen property and conspiracy were arrested in Scotts Valley last month. On Feb. 17, officers discovered the stolen medication and makeup during a traffic stop.

Police searched the car after the driver, later identified as Kalani Shipman, admitted to having methamphetamine pipes. Officers recovered more than $3,000 in allergy medicine, cosmetics allegedly taken from several grocery stores. Officers also discovered a pellet gun.

Shipman and her passenger Kenneth Blake were both arrested on suspicion of multiple charges.
