Great news if you were overbooked last week-end. Scotts Valley Performing Arts has extended open auditions, whichwill be held Friday June 3rd from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday June 4th from 9 Am to noon, with call backs from noon to 6 PM also on June 4th.
Auditions are held at Bethany University Theater 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley. Director Paul Sawyer and musical director Rachel Nachison are casting roles for adult actors (some children's roles are available). Irving Berlin’s musical whichrecounts the life of Annie Oakley (1860–1926), who was a sharpshooter from Ohio, and her husband, Frank Butler, is a shining example of two of America's greatest storylines: the "rags to riches" tale, and the tale of the glory of show business.
